Project 24 Decor Install Our clients needed to revive and refresh their formal living space. They started with bright white walls to accentuate the blue accent wall and those beautiful black frame windows. They wanted quality and comfort so we added new pieces with an oversized coffee table and matching console. We built a custom art ledge where they will soon display black and white family portraits. Brought in tons of accessories, accent furniture, greenery and a beautiful custom art piece to tie everything together. Swipe thru to see all the goodies in this install. F I R E P L A C E D E T A I L S We used @portolapaints Roman Clay to finish the bottom half of this decorative fireplace. Love the cloudy effect and the concrete texture that it brings to the space. We used a matte charcoal hex tile for the insert opening and wrapped the top half in vertical shiplap. The mantel is a custom Studio build and it’s finished in a custom all-in-one stain. Owner’s Suite. . . . Serenity and Relaxation were the two most important concepts we tried to achieve in the Owner’s Suite. Now more than ever many of us are working from home. It’s important to us that your bedroom be a distinct space that feels safe, private and relaxing. We continued with our paint palette of bright whites, woods, and greys in here and for a special detail, we added a custom built door finished in @sherwinwilliams #StudioBlueGreen The ceilings are T&G finished in @benjaminmoore #PlatinumGrey The suite sits away from the main areas and has its own patio retreat just beyond the sliding glass doors. . . . In interior design, Open Concept by definition is the elimination of barriers, such as walls and doors which traditionally separate distinct functional areas, combining the kitchen, living room, and dining room into a single great room. . . . The exposed structural beam was an intentional design element. The span is massive and the footings had to be impressive in order to run the span without any obstructing supporting posts. Rather than burying the beam into the attic crawl space, we opted to expose the majority of it. It ties together all the wood tones in the flooring, mantel, cabinetry, and raw wood accents in the kitchen. This space used to be compartmentalized, dark and dingy. We allowed all the natural light to shine through the entire layout. We used @calibamboo LVP flooring in #AgedHickory It has beautiful knots and wood-like tones and texture. We added some dimension to the space with a decorative fireplace which we finished in a cloudy concrete look using @portolapaints #RomanClay in Elephant and wrapped it in vertical Shiplap for a more modern look. The mantel is a custom Studio built floating piece finished in @oldbarnliving all-in-one #Weathered stain. Lastly, we knew from the start that black frame windows were a ‘must-have’. Owner’s On-Suite. . Let’s talk deeds on the on-suite in one of the two principal bedrooms at #ProjectOrange . . . By far, the show-stopper has to be this green-ish blue toned paint by @clarepaint in #CurrentMood that displays beautifully as a moody accent in this bath. It has the prefect finish: not too matte and very low sheen. The brass faucets and mirrors jump out in a beautiful contrast with this background and the nude tones in the light fixtures and floating vanity balance out the bold drama of this gorgeous color. The curbed shower is finished in a white penny tile by @bedrosianstile and we paired it with a charcoal grey grout. It’s large enough for seating and an oversized shower head. Bonus feature: we placed the valve opposite of the shower head for ease and comfort when starting the shower. We added a fun hexagon tile with the slightest tint of blue-grey in an ultra-matte nonslip finish. The cabinet hardware was a custom fun #DIY addition. . . . P R O J E C T | O R A N G E Today we are sharing all the details of our #ProjectOrange Kitchen. Comment your favorite part 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 . . . The dual-colored cabinets are from @semihandmade . We used their Suppermatte shaker in white for the uppers and lowers along the back wall. For the island and pantry, we used their Impression slab in Quarry. This combination feels light and airy and not too modern. . . . The appliances are GE @cafeappliances in their matte black finish with brushed bronze hardware. We are in love with these beautiful pieces. They are the jewels of the space. . . . To add some warmth and texture to the space, we added a custom hood cover in a slatted design and left it raw. We matched the drip ledge under the apron sink to tie it all together. . . . The backsplash was truly the starting point. I knew I had to have it the moment I spotted this white glass diamond mosaic by @merolatile . Depending on how the light reflects on it, it’s a combination of matte and polished effect. The count down is on! #ProjectOrange you are well overdue! It’s time to shine!! . . . We are scheduled for video/photographs with the best of the best in the industry and we STILL have a few...tiny little BIG items on the punchlist. I think I’ve aged 10 years this past year. We underestimated all that a full-gut renovation would require. From building permits to dealing with placement of electrical receptacles to building custom pieces that you will only find here and everything else that it has taken! It’s been a whirlwind. We got married in-between, ran our real estate business, our kids saw us leave days upon days and weekend after weekend to go work, we are currently surviving a pandemic, and also healing through all the world is facing right now. But as a design studio, seeing our vision come to life is worth all the sweat, blood, and big ugly tears. We hope the future family that fills this space with love, will love it just as we do. . . . The most important life lessons are taught at Home. We hope everyone gets to experience the feeling of Home. And more importantly the feeling of brotherhood/sisterhood. . . . To bring new life into a once dark and dingy space, we opted for a bright white as our base color to modernize and brighten the home and compliment the bold and moody accents colors. Bold colors don’t need to be harsh and stark contrasts to your base color. They can be subtle and gentle such as #CurrentMood by @clarepaint which is the perfect blend of green and blue-gray. Another personal favorite is #CrispyGingersnap by @behrpaint which was selected in honor of #ProjectOrange ...I couldn’t be more in love with it.

P R O J E C T | R E V E A L . . . SWIPE | To | View . Our client needed to add some personality to her work space. So we added a couple fun wall treatments and finished them in deep moody colors. She also needed functionality for staff offices and storage space. So we installed two custom dual-sided sliding doors to maximize space and built custom screens to keep materials out of plain sight. . . . Design: #StudioPM Photography: @rudyleyvas
